The Details

Lincoln Square Nursery and Preschool’s toddler program is designed for children ages 15 to 24 months. To ensure personalized learning and adequate care and attention, we keep our teacher to child ratios low—1 teacher to 3 children.

We balance the need for consistency, with increased exposure to age-appropriate learning and development games, tools, and activities. Our toddler curriculum is designed with the core learning concepts below.

Supportive Learning Environment

LSNP provides a safe and supportive learning environment, and a home away from home designed to develop your toddler’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. To build confidence and self-esteem, we personalize each activity so it meets the needs of both the group and each individual student.

Language and Literacy

At this age, toddlers are beginning to develop their two-way communication skills. We keep our students engaged with activities designed to build upon their current language and literacy skills. From story time to singing, peer-to-peer socialization, games, toys, and daily activities designed to improve communicating, language, and literacy.

Creative Learning

Toddlers are full of energy, and we use this fact to our advantage. We offer a stimulating curriculum that is as fun as it is educational. We provide structured learning, with games and activities that develop artistic ability, musical ability, gross motor skills, problem-solving skills, cause and effect, and much more!
